Hey guys welcome to my health page. This is my page dedicated to me sharing my personal health story, what I like to do for health and fitness and my personal routines which you may implement in your lifestyle.
Want to know how I kept lean and fit in quarantine?
One of my biggest focuses now at this point of my life is to take care of my health and fitness. Back in 2016-2017 during my final year and after finishing university and looking for employment, I had really unhealthy habits such as overeating, sleeping at ridiculous hours, not putting in time for my fitness etc.
As a result I gained weight, felt sluggish and didn’t perform everyday to the best I could be. The behaviour continued on until 2018 where I started making slow changes to my health but 2019 where I made a commitment to live a more truly healthier and maintainable lifestyle. From now and even in Covid, I have not looked back since.
How I turned my health around
I made friends with a physiotherapist who introduced me to a community of different health experts, business owners and other like-minded individuals who want to look to live a healthy lifestyle. In that community, there was a world class personal trainer and bodybuilder who created a program called 28dtc which stands for 28 day transformation challenge. From there I gained a set of healthy habits such as diet, sleeping patterns and exercises routines.
From practising those habits for 28 days, I was able to lose 7.8kg which then also helped me to lose further weight from there on. In covid, I was able to reduce my weight down to between 61kg – 63kg depending on the day. Living a healthy and maintainable lifestyle doesn’t have to be difficult. You can still enjoy life without damaging your health. I would love for you to follow my journey and show you how I’ve maintained mine.
Some of my Health and fitness activities
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is something I really enjoy doing. I’ve always been a big fan of martial arts. I’ve been doing it as a kid and I’ve still been living the martial arts lifestyle today. What I love about Jiu-Jitsu is the community from all over the world, the personal development that comes with it and the set of skills you obtain which you can defend yourself and your loved ones. I’m currently a blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu.
Going to the gym is something I’ve recently added into my routine. I’ve seen how it helped contributed to my weight loss and I would like to add that into my routine. Not only that it helps with my fitness, but it helps with my jiu-jitsu in regards to strength and conditioning. I felt faster, lighter and less injured because of it. Those two activities work hand in hand together.
Galaxy is an international organisation originally created in Melbourne. They are an empowering community that focuses on health and business education. I’m blessed to be involved in this community so not only can I learn more about business but I can learn from health experts of all different areas so I can not only improve my health but the health of others around we as well.
