How I started in personal devleopment

Growing up, I felt lost especially when I was a child. I had tough parents who raised me with what they knew at the time and how they grew up, I didn’t have the best of friends in primary school and I was easily influenced, put in activities that I didn’t enjoy at all which included karate where the teacher bullied me and embarrassed me in front of other kids for YEARS! As a result, it all lead to my negative behaviour at the time, unhappiness, lack of confidence and how I treated others.  It wasn’t until the second half of high school where I started meeting better friends, stopped doing activities I didn’t enjoy, naturally matured and had more freedom to choose my activities which was when things started to change for me such as learning how to really treat people and what true friends are.

While I was unhappy as a child, I was also a douchebag and rude to some of the people who didn’t deserve it, I was not the greatest role model to my cousins. While I take responsibility for my actions, I believed a part of it was also the people I was around with at the time. Reflecting on this, I felt guilty and would beat myself up for some of my actions as a child and I struggled mentally for ages. It wasn’t until I was 18 where my mums friend introduced me to a course called The Landmark Forum where my personal development journey began.

From that course I had the courage to apologise to the people I’ve hurt or wronged in the past, to release some of the emotions of how my parents raised me, especially some of the things my dad has done and said to me and I felt like a different person. I also felt that some of the things that have been locked up inside me for so long such as being energetic, courageous, having self-belief and to think for myself opened to me again. I made a promise to myself to never treat people badly ever again, continue to improve myself and to live a better life. Of course it doesn’t end there and there’s  still a lot of work to be done in my life and I would love to take you guys on this journey with me!

Every risk is worth taking as long as it's for a good cause, and contributes to a good life.

Goals and dreams

My biggest desire in life is to have time and financial freedom. To achieve that goal, I believe that I must give value and help other people achieve their goals which will then help me achieve mine. I’m blessed to have studied and worked professionally in what I enjoyed but the truth is, I do not desire waking up early in the morning and spending most of my life working 9-5. I would like to live life on my own terms, define how much I’m worth and give back to my parents and to provide a better future for myself and my future family as well as contributing to society.

My coach

I believe that no one succeeds on their own. Everyone needs a team, coach and mentor for different areas in their lives if they are to succeed.  I’m blessed to have coaches and mentors in different areas but there is one coach who has made a significant impact on my life and her name is Jacqui Ashley.

Jacqui is a mindset and alignment coach from Sydney Australia. I’ve had the pleasure to be coached by her for many years. Through her guidance, I’ve been able to improve my mindset, overcome some of my fears, insecurities and other areas in my life and business. She has my highest recommendation. If you would like to know more about her or if you would like to do some work with her, here is her website below.
